Its faculty members are highly qualified experts in the various area of research in the business and management. The PhD in Management enables students to complete extensive, independent research. For many students, the program is their first chance to make a major contribution towards research in a field of management.
University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) provides quality supervision for its research degrees. Doctoral candidates will be supported by a minimum of two supervisors throughout their candidature. Under their guidance, UGM doctoral candidates will write and submit a thesis that represents a significant contribution to the body of knowledge or understanding of their field of research.
Local Admission
i. A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in a related field as accepted by the Senate; OR
ii. A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in a non-related field as accepted by the Senate; subject to having relevant working experienceand internal interview assessment; OR iii. Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses*; OR
iv. Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
iv. Pass Apel A- T8 assessment in Management
International Admission
The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:
Achieve a minimum B4.0 in MUET; OR IELTS Band 6; OR TOEFL iBT score of 6.0 (equivalent to CEFR Mid B2).
** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika’s English Program
